You will co-create modern solutions based on Oracle and Python technologies, operating in an environment with high requirements for performance, reliability, and security. Your tasks: Support the solution architect in developing the architecture of an IT system based on a database Design and create database structures Implement functionalities in database systems Support the business architect and solution architect in application design Technological supervision over application development based on database processing Define technological directions in the field of databases Solve key database problems, including query optimization Ensure database consistency Create and update technical documentation for database solutions Create and supervise the development and execution of automated tests Participate in the servicing process Support the development of knowledge and competencies in the area of database design and programming Supervise project and as-built documentation in the scope of databases Co-create standards for database design and documentation Expected competencies: Minimum 10 years of experience in programming in PL/SQL languages and commercial experience with Python, including in the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of advanced database solutions. Very good knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL, especially in the scope of database structure design, creation of database objects, implementation of procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views and jobs, SQL/PLSQL optimization, analysis of execution plans, indexes, partitioning, and statistics. Knowledge of data processing and transformation mechanisms in XML and JSON formats using Oracle Database functionalities. Experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing database algorithms, including those processing large data volumes and requiring high performance. Ability to diagnose and solve performance problems, including optimization of SQL queries, PL/SQL code, analysis of locks, concurrency, and batch and integration processes. Experience in Python application development, especially using technologies: FastAPI, Pydantic, Polars, Pandera, SQLAlchemy, oracledb, Redis, pytest, pytest-bdd, uv, ruff. Ability to design data structures considering integrity, consistency, security, scalability, performance, and the possibility of further maintenance and development. Experience in creating and maintaining technical, project, implementation, and as-built documentation. Ability to work with the Git repository, including code versioning, working on branches, handling merge/pull requests, and participating in code reviews. Knowledge of secure programming principles, especially protection against SQL Injection, unauthorized access, improper authorization management, and uncontrolled data disclosure. Practical knowledge of the full software lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and development of IT systems. Nice to have: Experience in projects involving the implementation of database algorithms operating in a near real-time regime. Experience in designing or implementing solutions processing data in online, near real-time, cyclical, batch, or event-driven modes. Experience in projects related to large data volumes and systems with high requirements for performance, availability, and reliability. Experience in the power engineering industry, especially in the area of energy market systems, measurement, dispatch, planning, data exchange, balancing, settlement systems, or operational processes. Experience in integrating IT systems using REST API, SOAP, XML, JSON, CSV, message queues, ETL/ELT, database procedures, and interfaces.
