Senior Operations Engineer

Role Summary: The Lead Application Operations Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise applications globally, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance. This role involves leading operational activities, coordinating releases, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving automation and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of critical applications; ensure timely and efficient resolution of incidents; collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical debt; develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures and best practices; lead and participate in the development of new processes and tools to improve operational efficiency; and contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; 5+ years of experience in application operations, IT operations, or related field; strong understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform; experience with automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, and PowerShell; knowledge of containerization using Docker; experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
