Senior Online Editor / Content Consultant (All Genders)

As a Senior Online Editor / Content Consultant, you will develop content strategies, advise our clients, and implement content yourself. Together with editorial, SEO, development, and graphics, relevant B2C and B2B content for digital channels will be created. 

You will use modern editorial systems and AI tools meaningfully and can focus on content creation, project management, or client consulting. In this way, you will shape digital experiences that reach people and support business goals. 

• You are the first point of contact for your clients, develop content strategies together with them, and initiate creative B2C and B2B concepts. You keep an eye on market and content trends.
• You manage client projects independently, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and define suitable KPIs to make progress and success visible.
• You develop target group-oriented content concepts for text, image, and video and ensure consistent implementation across relevant digital channels.
• You will lead the content part in pitches: you will develop the content story, align it with strategy, SEO, design, and development to form a common approach, and actively help build the documentation.
• You will present your concepts yourself – with sound professional knowledge and confidence to clients and decision-makers – and moderate workshops independently from conception to results.
• You will write yourself, edit content, and provide constructive feedback, for example for guide texts, newsletters, and other digital formats.

• You have completed an editorial traineeship, a comparable qualification, and/or a degree, as well as at least four years of experience as an online editor, ideally in an agency or a comparable digital environment.
• You combine editorial quality with a solid understanding of SEO. Experience with CMS tools and project planning is a plus.
• You master common AI systems, select suitable solutions such as prompts, CustomGPTs, or agents, and independently implement AI-assisted content projects and workflows, including quality assurance.
• You will pass on your AI and editorial know-how, mentor junior colleagues, and provide sound advice to clients on the meaningful use of AI in the content process.
• You have German at C2 level and English at C1 level at a minimum, are absolutely confident in writing, and have a good feel for tonality, target groups, and digital formats.
• You are a true team player, communicate confidently with clients and colleagues, even in critical situations, and act as a professional voice for content in interdisciplinary teams.
