Senior Odoo Architect (m/w/d)

You want to be part of the development of a new drone class? Our team develops and operates several UAV systems with impressive dimensions and deployment profiles – from rescue and logistics missions to surveillance operations. All systems are controlled by a common, high-secure avionics system.

As Sr. Odoo Architect, you are the technical head behind a specialized Odoo ecosystem that manages the operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of our fleet. You design the software architecture, operational efficiency, and certification capabilities – in an environment that combines innovation, precision, and responsibility.

Tasks

• Concept and setup of the Odoo backend as the central „Single Source of Truth“ for fleet management and maintenance.
• Development of high-performance modules for flight logs, component lifecycles, and maintenance intervals.
• Design of the system architecture for data exchange between central platform and mobile apps in outdoor operations.
• Integration of international aviation standards in automated software workflows.
• Definition and documentation of secure, scalable APIs.
• Establishment of technical standards that meet the quality requirements of aviation.
• Close collaboration with Product Owners and Compliance Teams to implement complex requirements in smart software solutions.

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Fundamental experience with Odoo architecture and Python development, ideally in an industrial or fleet-related environment.
• Safe handling of PostgreSQL, REST/XML-RPC, and Git.
• Knowledge of agile methods, relational databases, and modern design patterns.
• Optional: Experience with mobile frontends or CI/CD pipelines.
• Readiness for a security check according to Ü2 (Sabotage Protection)
