Responsibilities

Do you want to use your experience in fiber optic planning and accompany demanding infrastructure projects from planning to implementation? Then become part of our team and shape high-performance fiber optic networks for our customers.

• You will be responsible for the rough and detailed planning of fiber optic networks based on digital planning documents (fiber planning)
• By creating cost overviews, you ensure efficient project progress
• Quality assurance as well as adherence to planning specifications and deadlines are also among your tasks
• Your documentation of the planned/realized networks forms the basis for further joint projects
• You are in contact with Field Service and accompany the successful implementation of the project
• You are also responsible for obtaining permits from the relevant authorities
• You use AI-based tools specifically for support in network planning, data analysis, quality assurance, and documentation

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geography, Geoinformatics, or a similar qualification
• You have demonstrable experience in the planning of passive telecommunications network infrastructures
• You are familiar with system technology and modern telecommunications infrastructures
• Knowledge of GIS applications and various documentation tools (e.g., Amdocs Cramer, PNI, MEGAPLAN, AND, QGIS, Tannis) would be advantageous
• Proactiveness, structure, analytical skills, and a strong technical understanding make you the ideal team member
• You have basic knowledge of using Artificial Intelligence and AI-based tools and can use them responsibly to optimize planning and documentation processes
• We require very good language skills in German (C1 Level) and English as well as the willingness to travel nationally
