Senior Network & Security Engineer - Zurich Switzerland - Cisco & Fortinet

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with experience in project work and corresponding certification in the network or security field (e.g. CCNP, NSE8, etc.)

Tasks

• You build networks for our customers and manage these
• You maintain, update, and develop complex network landscapes continuously further
• You plan, design, and operate modern firewall-, LAN-, and WLAN-infrastructure
• You analyze disturbances, resolve incidents independently, and steer changes in the network environment
• You develop automation solutions to increase efficiency in operation
• You support internal sales teams with your technical expertise in the pre-sales process

Qualification

• You have a higher education in computer science or equivalent long professional experience
• Certifications or training in the context of Cisco and Fortinet are present, further manufacturer knowledge is a plus (or willingness to obtain certifications)
• You bring fundamental knowledge in perimeter security, routing & switching, VPN, TCP/IP, and WLAN with you
• Experience at an IT service provider and initial development experience are advantageous
• You communicate confidently in German and feel comfortable writing and speaking English as well
• You work independently, quality-conscious, and convince through team spirit and analytical thinking
