Senior Network Security Engineer - Firewall & Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Tasks

Your Mission - Design network and security infrastructure!

• Together with your team, you ensure the stable, secure and efficient operation of the network and firewall infrastructure.
• You maintain and continuously develop the network and firewall landscape further – across various environments (On-Premises, Hybrid and Cloud).
• In close cooperation with the Security Team, you work on the automation, monitoring and optimization of networks and firewalls.
• You develop and implement procedures, guidelines and technical concepts that sustainably strengthen IT and operational security.
• You create and maintain clear, structured technical documentation that supports the operation and further development of our infrastructure.

Qualification

• Completed training or studies in computer science, IT systems engineering, network technology or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the administration of networks and firewall systems, also with regard to cloud technologies
• Very good knowledge of working with at least one of the following technologies: Palo Alto, Extrem Network, Check Point, FortiGate
• Teamwork and open communication are a matter of course for you
• Very good German skills
