Your tasks:

• You take responsibility for planning, installing, configuring, and operating the network equipment of cloud infrastructures in data centers.
• You lead demanding customer projects independently, such as BGP Anycast over multiple locations with HA-firewall clusters or DWDM-connected backends.
• You take charge of incident and problem management and ensure standardization of network deployment through continuous process optimization.
• You work agilely using Kanban boards according to ITIL standards in a 6-person network operations team and cross-team together.

Qualification

You bring:

• + 4 years of experience in the network field, especially in troubleshooting or security, ideally from the hoster-, carrier- or data center environment.
• Knowledge in the area of routing & switching (experience with Juniper, Cisco or HP Enterprise) as well as protocol knowledge like OSPF, Link-State-Routing and BGP-debugging.
• Practical experience in firewalling & VPN (e.g. Fortinet, IPSEC, NAT, packet filter or remote access).
• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Readiness for occasional on-site deployments (approximately every 5-6 weeks).
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills.
