What you do

As a Network Consultant within Cloud & Data Services (DC & Network Services), you are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. You work with modern technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, WAFs, and load balancers within both private and public cloud environments.

Together with a team of specialized network consultants, you ensure that our services are delivered securely, reliably, automated, and efficiently to our clients.

What will you do?

• Implement and manage advanced network environments

• Configure and manage routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, WAFs, and load balancers

• Translate architectural designs into concrete technical implementations

• Perform patch, lifecycle, and security management

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance

• Work according to ITIL processes and contribute to continuous improvement

• Develop innovative network solutions for our clients

What you bring

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) work and thinking level;

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;

• You possess relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNP, Aruba, Fortinet NSE4/NSE5, Microsoft AZ-700/AZ-900, Citrix Netscaler, F5, and ITIL Foundation, or are willing to obtain them;

• Knowledge of routing and switching concepts;

• Knowledge of VPN technologies, Zero Trust, NAC, and MFA integrations;

• Experience with firewalls, WAFs, and load balancers;

• Experience with wireless solutions from Fortinet, Aruba, and Ubiquiti

• Experience with scripting and network automation;

• You are capable of translating a High-Level Design (HLD) into a concrete configuration and Visio drawings (LLD);

• Knowledge of VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS/VPLS, GSLB, and policy-based routing;

• You are strong in communication, solution-oriented, independent, and customer-focused;

• You are willing to participate in standby services and occasionally perform work outside of office hours.
