Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native iOS) @ VGW

8 years shipping production mobile apps, including 3 years hands-on React Native ; Hands-on iOS native development experience; Proficiency in TypeScript and building scalable, maintainable mobile architectures; Solid experience with App Store delivery and release processes, including deployments and versioning; Understanding of release implications, including handling embedded web assets and remote configuration; Proven experience working in a collaborative team environment, with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams; Strong understanding of software development life cycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment; Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git; Familiarity with cloud-based services like AWS or Google Cloud Platform; Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing; Familiarity with mobile app analytics tools like Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics; Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps, including data encryption and secure storage; Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively; Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities; Experience with code reviews and pair programming; Strong understanding of software development principles, including scalability, maintainability, and performance.
