Senior Mobile Developer - Flutter!

The Company
Established SaaS business within the property and real-estate industry! This company has close to 1 million kiwi users and they are looking to expand their product offering in the future. You'll join a tight, collaborative team that values experimentation, craftsmanship and the occasional office dog cuddle.

The Role
Our client is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join the team and take ownership of a Flutter-based mobile app. The app is already in active development and approaching release with strong pre-existing UX/UI design, guidelines and user testing. Your first mission will be to help the final push to launch on iOS and Android.

Post-launch, this mobile app will be foundational to the future of this company's business and product, becoming the core way users engage with the platform. You'll play a key role in scaling the product, evolving the experience, and setting the technical direction for mobile offerings.

• Complete the final development stages and deliver the app to release.
• Collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Flutter/Dart & Firebase; Ensure smooth performance, robust state management, and responsive UI.
• Integrate with APIs and backend services for reliability and scalability; Establish best practices around testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Mentor other developers and help grow the mobile capability; Contribute to product strategy and roadmap once live.

Your profile:

• +5 years of professional mobile development experience, with +2 years in Flutter.
• Must have strong knowledge of Dart, Flutter's widget system, and cross-platform nuances; This includes experience shipping apps to the App Store and Play Store.
• Solid understanding of UX, mobile design principles, and performance optimization; Familiarity with backend integration (REST, authentication).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership; Collaborative mindset and great communication skills.
• Strong preference with prior experience launching a mobile app or two from pre-release to production.
