Join the team working on a global recommendation system that already provides value to business teams in many countries. This is a mature, production-ready solution that is now moving to a higher level of scalability and technological advancement.

We are looking for someone who will combine deep technical skills with a mentoring approach – you will have an impact on the development of the system, architecture and MLOps practices, as well as support the data science team in building stable ML models ready for production.

Scope of responsibilities

• Architecture development: leading the development of the recommendation system with an emphasis on scalability, quality and performance.

• MLOps Leadership: development of MLOps strategy and implementation of practices – building CI/CD (GitLab), monitoring, using MLflow.

• Model deployment: cooperation with the DS team in the deployment of ML models to production (AWS SageMaker).

• Mentoring: advice and technical support for the data science team – best engineering and design practices.

• Active development: contributing to the code (Python) – clean, testable code for the ML infrastructure and pipelines.

• Cooperation with the business: translating business requirements into technical architecture, exploring new tools and technological possibilities.

✅ Requirements (must-have)

• 5+ years of experience as an ML Engineer or Software Engineer in the area of ML/Data

• Practical experience with MLOps: CI/CD (GitLab), MLflow, monitoring

• Experience in deploying models to production, preferably on AWS (SageMaker)

• Very good knowledge of Python and the ML ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch / TensorFlow)

• Knowledge of the architecture of recommendation systems and their applications

• Experience in designing scalable and highly available systems

• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams (PM, DS, Dev)

• English language – min. B2

➕ Nice to have

• Experience in large recommendation systems

• Knowledge of AWS SageMaker Pipelines, Feature Store

• Knowledge of A/B testing of models in production

• Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams
