Senior Merchandiser

Company Description CMV GLOBAL CLOTHINGS Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Tiruppur for a Senior Merchandiser. The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for assisting with product assortment, planning and allocation, and ensuring that products meet customer demands. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders, analyzing sales data to inform merchandising decisions, and managing inventory levels. Additionally, the Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for: • Assisting in the development of product assortment plans and strategies • Analyzing sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration • Managing inventory levels and ensuring that products are properly stocked • Collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams • Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner • Maintaining accurate records of sales data, inventory levels, and product assortment plans • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments to inform merchandising decisions • Participating in regular meetings with the Merchandising team to discuss progress, goals, and challenges • Providing support to junior merchandisers as needed.
