Senior Mendix Developer

In a team full of Mendix Experts, you can fully indulge your enthusiasm for low-code. As a Senior Mendix Consultant, you will work on creative and challenging projects, both in the Netherlands and internationally. Your Role

As a Mendix Expert, you do much more than just coding. You bridge the gap between technology and business needs.

From a web application that automates processes for a large European Banking institution, setting up a Mendix App Factory with a team of low-code rookies, to developing a native mobile app that connects newcomers with Dutch people.

Collaboration is the norm with us, whether that's at the office in Amsterdam, at home, or at the client's site. We find it important to see each other regularly, for lunch or drinks, to learn from each other, or just to catch up.

We have multiple experienced Mendix Experts on our team. People with whom you can brainstorm, who support you, and vice versa. We share knowledge, experience, and use cases during our bi-weekly Mendix Mingles.

Who We Are Looking For

• You are Mendix Expert Certified, or are willing to obtain this certification in a very short period from your current Mendix Advanced certification. Furthermore, you are Scrum PSM-1 certified or familiar with an agile work system.
• As an experienced low-code consultant, you enjoy not only building applications but also spotting opportunities with your clients, thinking about how processes and systems can truly work well, and inspiring people with your enthusiasm for low-code.
• Experience with UX design, Java, setting up or supporting (M)CoEs, training and coaching, or any other expertise that adds value to our team is a great bonus!
• As an organization without managers and bosses, we expect you to dare to take responsibility yourself and to be energized by spotting opportunities and acting on them immediately. Whether it's for your own development, the client, or the organization.
• You also speak and write Dutch and English well, and you live in the Netherlands.
• Preferably, you also possess a B driver's license.

What We Offer

• Between €60k and €100k gross per year, for a full-time employment (40h)
• Monthly project bonus, which can amount to up to 25% of your gross monthly salary.
• To enable you to do your work well, you will receive a monthly allowance for:
  • €25 for your phone costs
  • €40 for fast internet at home
  • €850 for your travel expenses (bicycle, public transport, car, or motorcycle)
• The opportunity to purchase shares and thus co-entrepreneur.
• 8% of your monthly salary as holiday pay.
• 30 vacation days per year based on full-time employment.
• Fun drinks, game nights, BBQs, Mendix meetups, and an in-house staff association!
• Every 4 years, you can take a maximum of 4 months of unpaid leave. This allows you to explore the world without putting your career on pause. But you have to come back!

Step 1: Phone Call: We will call you soon after you submit your application for a brief introduction and to schedule a follow-up appointment.

Step 2: Meet & Greet: We invite you to our office in Amsterdam for a conversation with several colleagues. We would love to get to know you and are curious about your technical skills and ambitions. Of course, you can also ask us all your questions.

Step 3: Offer: Do we see a match? Then we will make an offer in the same week as the Meet and Greet. We would like to go through this with you at our office.

Step 4: Onboarding: Signed? Great, welcome to the team! Your personal buddy will guide you during the first month, your self-selected gear will be ready on your first workday, and a first project to get started on will be prepared for you, smooth sailing from here!
