Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support business development and solution design for international automation projects. This is a Mexico-based role within a globally integrated automation company, combining local customer-facing engineering with strong global engineering and manufacturing capabilities, including teams in China. The position plays a key role in technical solution definition, customer engagement, and early-phase project development, supporting the development of innovative solutions that meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mechanical design solutions for international automation projects. • Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving. • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration. • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying knowledge to improve processes and solutions. The ideal candidate will have: • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the automation industry. • Strong technical skills in CAD design, FEA analysis, and simulation tools. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Experience with international projects and collaboration. • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
