Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

TMC is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with proven experience in the design and engineering of automated material handling systems for large-scale fulfillment operations. This role involves developing mechanical designs for conveyor, sortation, and intralogistics equipment that meet the rigorous technical and operational standards of e-commerce distribution environments. The ideal candidate has direct design experience on Amazon fulfillment center projects and brings a strong foundation in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with 3D modeling, simulation, and analysis tools like ANSYS or COMSOL. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and thermodynamics is required. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary. Experience with project management tools like Asana or Trello is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
