Job description

Job Description

You don't report what happened. You ensure we know what needs to happen next.

Pammys has grown to over 1 million customers in just four years and is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in Europe.

Today, over 150 employees are working at our locations in Hamburg, Kiel, and our own 22,000 m² logistics center in Lensahn to make Pammys a global footwear brand.

With a turnover in the mid-8-figure range, several million euros in marketing investments per month, international growth, and millions of euros in product volume, one thing is becoming increasingly important:

Financial control at the highest level.

That's why we are massively expanding our controlling department and looking for four (Senior) Controllers / Finance Business Partners (m/f/d) to steer the next phase of growth with us.

With us, it's not about managing Excel files or summarizing past figures.

You sit close to the decisions, challenge assumptions, identify deviations early, and translate numbers into concrete actions.

Your goal: Make growth profitable and always know which lever has the greatest financial impact.

Depending on your experience and focus, you will take responsibility for one or more of our central company areas such as Marketing & E-Commerce, Product & Sourcing, Operations & Logistics, or Corporate Finance.

Your Tasks

You will analyze and further develop our key figures in Marketing, thereby creating a well-founded basis for data-driven decisions.

  • You analyze relevant marketing KPIs and ensure that deviations are identified early and concrete recommendations for action are derived.
  • You evaluate the performance of our marketing channels and campaigns down to the target group, product, or market level and identify optimization potential.
  • You analyze conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, return on ad spend, and customer lifetime value and make interrelationships transparent.
  • You develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and early warning systems together with Marketing, Finance, and Data.
  • You link marketing figures with economic results and show which measures contribute to customer acquisition, customer retention, and profitability.
  • You create performance forecasts and scenario analyses and evaluate the potential impact of different marketing measures.
  • You define clear targets, benchmarks, and performance KPIs together with the responsible parties and make target achievement measurable.
  • You analyze the customer journey and the conversion funnel and identify potential for improving conversion, repeat purchase rate, and customer value.
  • You evaluate A/B tests and campaign experiments and derive well-founded recommendations for the further development of our marketing activities.
  • You ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of our marketing data and further develop key figure definitions and measurement methods.
  • You drive the automation and standardization of marketing reporting.
  • You work closely with Marketing, Management, Finance, Data, and Sales and present findings in an understandable and decision-oriented manner.

Your Profile

  • You have a completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience from E-commerce, D2C, Retail, Fashion, FMCG, or a fast-growing company is particularly exciting.
  • You understand marketing not just technically, but can explain what operational decision lies behind a change.
  • You are extremely proficient in Excel or Google Sheets and can structure and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Experience with BI tools, ERP systems, and automated reporting is a big plus.
  • You work analytically and precisely, but do not get lost in analysis, instead quickly arriving at a clear recommendation.
  • You have the ambition to challenge numbers, rather than just accept them.
  • You can explain complex issues in a way that even non-marketers understand what needs to be done.
  • You work independently, take responsibility, and are comfortable in an environment where decisions are made quickly and results are clearly measured.
  • You have very good German and good English language skills.

Your Benefits at Pammys

  • Real Impact: Your analyses don't end up in a presentation but directly in operational and strategic decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial Controlling: You will be given your own areas of responsibility and become a sparring partner for the respective managers.
  • Extraordinary Scaling: You will accompany a company on its journey from the mid-8-figure to the mid-9-figure revenue range.
  • Complexity to Grow With: E-commerce, marketing, international markets, in-house logistics, sourcing, and millions of products create a finance environment that goes far beyond classic controlling.
  • Shaping Instead of Administering: Many structures are just being created. You can actively help build processes, dashboards, KPIs, and control models.
  • Short Decision Paths: No endless coordination loops. Good analyses are quickly translated into decisions.
  • High-Performance Environment: Clear goals, measurable results, high personal responsibility, and the ambition to continuously improve every area.
  • Development Perspective: With further growth, additional areas of responsibility and leadership opportunities will arise within our finance team.
  • Additional Benefits: Employee discounts, corporate benefits, free drinks, and other advantages.
