Senior Marine Structural Engineer - CPT

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine Structural Engineer with experience in Cape Town, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing marine structural engineering projects, including design, analysis, and construction supervision. Responsibilities: * Lead and oversee marine structural engineering projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. * Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues. * Collaborate with other engineers and technical experts to develop and implement innovative solutions. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, and maintain accurate records of project activities. * Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians. * Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects. * Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the marine and maritime industry, including trends, technologies, and best practices. * Stay up-to-date with relevant industry developments, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
