Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Cloud Security About the Role: The Senior Manager, Software Engineering, leads the build-out, development, and management of a team of developers responsible for creating and maintaining systems, platforms, and tools that support T-Mobile's internal and external business needs. This role is critical in delivering scalable software solutions, building technical strategy, and collaborating closely with product and IT partners. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled leader who can drive innovation, foster collaboration, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a team of developers responsible for creating and maintaining systems, platforms, and tools that support T-Mobile's internal and external business needs. • Build and execute technical strategy to deliver scalable software solutions that meet business requirements. • Collaborate closely with product and IT partners to ensure alignment and effective delivery of software products. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including product owners, IT leaders, and other senior managers. • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements, technology advancements, and new software development methodologies. • Foster collaboration across teams and departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet business requirements and customer needs. • Develop and maintain a team culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software engineering and cloud security. • Make informed decisions about technology investments, architecture, and roadmaps. • Ensure compliance with T-Mobile's policies, procedures, and standards for software development and cloud security. • Develop and maintain a team of developers who are skilled in cloud security, DevOps, and agile methodologies. • Collaborate closely with the Cloud Security team to ensure alignment and effective delivery of cloud security solutions. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud security and software engineering. • Make informed decisions about technology investments, architecture, and roadmaps for cloud security and software engineering. • Ensure compliance with T-Mobile's policies, procedures, and standards for cloud security and software engineering. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles. • Strong technical skills in cloud security, DevOps, and agile methodologies. • Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, and deployment. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
