Position

We are looking for, effective immediately (part-time / 50%),a Senior Manager Female Player Care in the National Teams & Academy business unit.
The position is initially limited until December 31, 2027.


Your Playing Field

  • Trusted Point of Contact: You are the point of contact for personal and non-sporting concerns of our national players – with a focus on the Women's National Team and the U-National Women's Teams.
  • Female Health & Wellbeing: Development and implementation of supplementary measures for female-specific health topics and special career and life phases – in close cooperation with internal and external experts and in exchange with the clubs.
  • Mental Health: Development and implementation of targeted measures for education and prevention, as well as networking with existing support structures and suitable experts.
  • Personal and Professional Development: Development of educational, mentoring, and consulting formats during and after an active career – especially with regard to dual careers, further education, and career transitions.
  • Networks & Cooperations: Establishment and further development of networks with current and former players, clubs, educational institutions, and relevant partners and experts.
  • Involvement of the Player Perspective in the further development of Female Player Care and support for suitable network, communication, media, and sponsor formats.

What Makes You a FOOTBALL MAKER

  • Completed playing career at a high level, preferably at the level of the DFB's senior and U-national teams.
  • Outstanding network in the area of national teams and performance-oriented women's football.
  • A completed degree in a relevant field or relevant professional experience.
  • A proactive, communicative, and solution-oriented way of working.
  • Enjoy daily collaboration with an interdisciplinary team consisting of diverse competencies and knowledge from football practice and scientific disciplines.
  • Experience in a professional sports association/club, in (sports) institutions/companies, or a performance center.
  • Passion for football and an overview of current topics in top-level football.
  • Desire for short-term and long-term tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Very good German and English skills, fluent in spoken and written.

Further Information

As part of the German Football Association, the DFB Academy sees itself as a service provider to deliver effective impulses for the further development of German football and our national teams. With the position of “Senior Manager Female Player Care,” we are creating a point of contact for player concerns outside of the green pitch and in close collaboration with the clubs.
