Job description
Do you want to help shape many companies into an integrated, scalable, and future-proof finance platform? Then we are looking for exactly you, as soon as possible as:
Senior Manager (m/f/d) - Finance Integration
As Senior Manager (m/f/d) - Finance Integration, you will play a central role in building our group-wide finance function. You will report to our VP Finance Operation and work closely with our Director FP&A, our CFO, and the managing directors of our subsidiaries, ensuring that group-wide finance processes, standards, and projects are successfully implemented.
You will strategically develop our finance organization: You will coordinate finance projects, support the integration of new companies, harmonize processes, and create the foundation for a scalable finance platform. We need your support for this!
The Arsipa Group is a fast-growing, PE-backed corporate group in the Health, Safety & Environment sector, supported by Warburg Pincus. With over 1,000 employees, 20+ subsidiaries, and 90 locations in Germany and Austria, we are building a scalable platform with sustainable value creation as part of a clear buy-and-build strategy. Our goal: to become one of the leading providers in the German-speaking market - supported by central functions such as Finance, HR, Marketing, and IT at our Berlin location.
Your Tasks:
Finance Integration & Post-Merger Integration
You will independently manage the financial integration of new subsidiaries within the framework of our buy-and-build strategy and accompany them from planning to implementation.
You will support new companies in introducing and implementing group-wide finance processes, standards, and systems.
You will systematically track integration measures and relevant milestones and ensure transparent project progress.
You will identify dependencies and action requirements early on and manage necessary escalations with the relevant stakeholders.
Finance Transformation & Standardization
You will manage and coordinate group-wide finance projects and transformation initiatives across various companies and departments.
You will continuously develop finance processes, standards, and reporting structures together with the relevant teams.
You will identify optimization and standardization potential within our finance landscape and derive concrete measures from it.
You will support the further development of scalable finance structures and systems with a view to the requirements of our growing corporate group.
Stakeholder & Project Management
You will work closely with our VP Finance Operations, Director FP&A, CFO, as well as the managing directors and finance teams of our subsidiaries.
As a central interface, you will coordinate cooperation between Group Accounting, Group Controlling / FP&A, and the local companies.
You will bring together various internal and external stakeholders and ensure clear responsibilities, alignments, and next steps.
You will transparently prepare relevant project progress, decision requirements, and risks and communicate them to the stakeholders involved.
Your Starting Requirements:
What you bring:
Several years of professional experience in a finance environment with a sound understanding of accounting and/or controlling processes forms your technical foundation.
You bring experience in independently managing cross-departmental projects and in confidently dealing with various stakeholders.
You are characterized by strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the enjoyment of actively driving change and bringing together different interests.
Fluent German and good English skills, as well as a structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working, complete your profile.
This will help you succeed faster:
Experience in the areas of Finance Transformation, Finance Excellence, CFO Office, or Consulting would be advantageous.
Knowledge and practical experience in Post-Merger Integration (PMI) are desirable.
Experience in a PE-financed, multi-entity, buy-and-build, or comparable growth environment would be a plus.
Experience in standardizing, digitizing, or scaling finance processes and systems would make your onboarding easier.
Our Benefits:
Attractive working environment: 30 days of annual leave, half a day off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, a hybrid setup with one home office day per week, and a centrally located office in the Rocket Tower including a gym, directly at the "Kochstraße" subway station.
Strong team culture: An open and appreciative corporate culture with regular stand-ups, monthly all-hands meetings, and joint events to promote a positive and collegial working atmosphere.
Direct proximity to finance leadership and business: You will work closely with our VP Finance, the CFO, and the managing directors of our subsidiaries and actively support the development of our group-wide finance function.
Scope for action in a buy-and-build platform: You will actively shape processes, structures, and strategic initiatives in a crisis-proof, rapidly growing corporate group and gain insights into the implementation of a roll-up strategy – supported by one of the world's leading investors, Warburg Pincus.
Insights into the finance transformation of a PE-backed corporate group: From integrating new companies, standardizing processes and systems, to reporting, governance, and scaling projects, you will participate in key finance initiatives of our buy-and-build strategy.
