We are looking for a Senior Manager Strategie & Transformation (m/w/d) to join our team at the earliest possible time.

The Maschinenraum is a shared transformation ecosystem of German medium-sized and family-owned companies, working together to better understand and shape future themes. Together with our over 80 member companies like Dussmann, Melitta, Sennheiser, Vorwerk, and Viessmann, the Maschinenraum drives the transformation of organizations through the sharing of experiences, knowledge, skills, and resources systematically forward. Originating from the transformation experience of the Viessmann Group is the Maschinenraum a neutral platform for the middle class by the middle class.

The Maschinenraum Advisory is an important pillar of the overall company. As a small, experienced team, we accompany our member companies in terms of innovation and strategy themes – always when individual needs arise. Additionally, we conceptualize and accompany so-called Co-Creation Programs, in which selected member companies develop solutions for current challenges together.

What you will achieve

As Sr Manager Strategie & Transformation (m/w/d), you will develop and accompany the conception, budgeting, and implementation of projects and workshops with a clear focus on strategy and transformation themes.

This means specifically:

• Strategy Development & Transformation: Accompaniment of member companies in developing future-proof strategies, strategy implementation, and transformation projects.
• Workshop Moderation & Executive-Level Formats: Designing and moderating decision-relevant formats with C-level executives; establishing governance structures and clear roadmaps for sustainable implementation
• Strategic Market & Competition Analysis: In-depth trend analysis and industry developments as decision-making grounds; structured presentation of complex information
• Go-to-Market: Development and evaluation of go-to-market strategies; supporting medium-sized companies in implementing new business models
• Weiterentwicklung des Advisory Angebote: Conceptualization and pilotage of new formats for the Maschinenraum community
• “Co-Creation Programm”: Conceptualization and creation of cross-enterprise initiatives for the Maschinenraum community

Job Requirements

This is you

You enjoy working in a small, dynamic consulting team where everyone packs and thinks together. You are open to new things, work conscientiously, and want to use your skills to bring our vision into reality.

In addition, you bring the following qualifications:

• At least five years of professional experience in demanding roles – whether in consulting firms, strategy departments, or transformation teams
• Fundamental expertise in strategy and transformation, preferably with an understanding of the practical realities of the middle class world
• Strong conceptual skills: You work structured, moderate workshops prudently, and accompany decision-making processes securely
• Fundamental project management and steering experience: You enjoy managing many themes and projects simultaneously
• Hands-on mentality and self-initiative: You take action, think with, and work independently
• Menschenorientierung und Kommunikationsstärke: You understand the perspectives of different stakeholders, communicate precisely, and have an authentic impact on C-level executives
• Hervorragende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
