Senior Manager Project Management (Pharma)

Job description

Summary


Drive end-to-end execution of R&D and cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery within defined timelines, quality, and cost parameters. The role requires strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities to support new product development and lifecycle management initiatives

**PMP Certification is mandatory for this role.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and track projects across R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, QA/QC, and Production
  • Develop project plans, define milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and stage-gate requirements
  • Manage risks, issues, and scope changes with proactive escalation
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and governance updates for stakeholders
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Conduct project reviews and capture learnings for continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle

Eligibility Criteria

  • Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Science, or Management
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory
  • 7- 12 years in core project management experience with strong experience in managing projects across regulatory framework
  • Experience in pharmaceutical / regulated environment
  • Sterile / ophthalmic / injectable experience highly preferred
