(Senior) Manager Network Planning Train - Bau- & Jahresplanung (m/w/d)

As part of our rapidly growing Travel-Tech company, you work at the interface between infrastructure, operation, and commercial planning and ensure that our network remains attractive, reliable, and economically successful even during extensive construction phases.

About the role

• You support the development and optimization of the annual timetable concept and take into account the effects of planned infrastructure measures.
• You analyze the impact of construction projects on the FlixTrain network and derive well-founded recommendations and alternative concepts from this.
• Data-driven analyses with Excel, BI tools, and initial AI applications help you evaluate commercial impacts on demand, revenue, and costs.
• You develop implementable solutions for construction-related challenges together with teams from Commercial Planning, Operations, and Operations Planning.
• You prepare external stakeholder meetings with DB InfraGO, the Federal Network Agency, and other partners and represent FlixTrain's interests.

About you

• You have good knowledge of traffic geography in Germany and are interested in the relationships between infrastructure, operation, and economics.
• You possess analytical thinking, a strong understanding of numbers, and very good Excel skills.
• You bring initial professional experience from the field of Network Planning (Netzplanung), Capacity Management, Transport, Infrastructure, Consulting, or a comparable environment.
• You combine structured, independent, and solution-oriented working with strong communication skills and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation.
• You have fluent German and English language skills (C1 level) and are self-evident.
• Experience with KOMBau, FBS, IVU, SQL, Python, BI tools, or AI applications is a plus but not necessary.
