About the firm:

Our client is a boutique international tax firm led by industry experts with extensive experience in tax law and accounting. Established to focus on a specialised area of international tax often overlooked by larger firms, they’ve built a reputation for providing high‑level advice to both Australian and global clients.

You’ll be joining a small, collaborative Sydney team (currently three people) with big growth plans – aiming to expand to 10–20 locally while also growing across Denmark, the Philippines and Singapore. The office is modern and well‑equipped, with flexibility for remote work, regular Monday or Wednesday meetings, and a monthly global meeting to stay aligned with international teams.

They use SharePoint, Maximiser and Xero and offer a supportive, down‑to‑earth culture – think annual Christmas celebrations, mentorship from leaders, and a genuine opportunity to make your mark.

The role:
You’ll take on a hands‑on, client‑facing role where you’ll:

• Manage a portfolio of clients and a small team
• Handle complex and high‑value client matters alongside senior colleagues
• Provide ad hoc consultancy and advisory support
• Review company tax returns, BAS, GST and FBT (with a tax manager)
• Oversee client tax compliance (FBT, GST, company tax, payroll tax and related administration)

About you:
You’re an experienced manager or senior accountant ready to step into a broader role. You’ll bring strong technical skills across compliance and advisory, excellent communication and leadership qualities, and a genuine interest in building long‑term relationships with clients.
