Senior Manager - GPS Cloud Engineering

Position Summary The GPS Data & Analytics Sr. Manager role is accountable for designing, setting up and managing the AWS Infrastructure ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. This role will work closely with development teams, analytics/AI engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain and optimize our cloud environment. Position Responsibilities* Key Responsibilities: Manage and support AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and other AWS services. Monitor and maintain the cloud environment to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud infrastructure meets their needs. Work closely with analytics/AI engineers to ensure cloud infrastructure supports their workloads. Provide technical guidance and support to teams using the cloud. Develop and maintain cloud engineering best practices and standards. Position Requirements* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS. Skills: AWS, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, cloud engineering, cloud architecture, DevOps, Agile, Scrum, cloud security, cloud compliance, cloud governance. Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or higher. Certifications in cloud security, compliance, and governance are a plus. Additional Requirements: Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, availability, and security. Experience with cloud-based data analytics and AI/ML is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
