Senior Manager Financial Reporting (m/w/d)

As part of the Accounting & Tax Teams, you play a key role in ensuring correct financial reporting and compliance with all statutory requirements in our growing company. You work with colleagues from various business areas and external consultants together, support system improvements and contribute to increasing efficiency and automation of our accounting processes.

About the Role

• As our Senior Manager Financial Reporting, you prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS
• You also prepare the required annexes for quarterly and consolidated financial statements of FlixTrain GmbH according to IFRS
• You are the point of contact for external consultants and auditors in connection with the preparation of consolidated financial statements and IFRS matters
• You analyze complex accounting questions of FlixTrain GmbH according to HGB and prepare individual financial statements (HGB)
• You also analyze new accounting regulations and implement them at FlixTrain GmbH
• You maintain and develop corporate balance sheet guidelines, as well as relevant controls and processes of FlixTrain GmbH

About You

• You hold a successfully completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting
• You have several years of experience in accounting or auditing, ideally in an international environment that you can draw upon
• You have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards (HGB/IFRS) that sets you apart
• You are familiar with MS Office, especially Excel, and would like to have user knowledge in consolidation software
• You are able to think process-oriented as well as analytically-conceptually and can quickly get involved in complex task areas
• You enrich our team through your independent, communicative, and open-minded nature
• You possess fluent German and English skills that round out your profile
