We are repositioning our Service Area Sustainable Energy Transformation and are looking for you as an experienced leadership personality who, with energy, foresight, and drive, will further advance our team and projects. Together, you will develop the strategic further development of our area, build new business fields, and set impulses that have a real impact.

Your tasks

• Strategic and technical leadership of the Service Area Sustainable Energy Transformation with the focal points:
  • Industrial Decarbonisation: Market-, regulatory- & technology analyses, development of decarbonization strategies, creation of transformation plans according to BAFA Module 5
  • Green Energy Sourcing: Development of green energy and PPA procurement strategies, consulting on hydrogen, biogas, compliance checks
  • Energy Concepts: Feasibility studies for evaluating flexibility potential, modeling of tenant electricity concepts, accompaniment of digitalization processes
  • Energiemanagement: Establishment of management systems (e.g. ISO 50001), consulting on regulatory requirements
• As Team Lead, you will take over the technical and personal development of your team
• Broadening the performance portfolio and continuous further development of services with a view to market trends
• Responsibility for project acquisition, budgeting, and cost planning as well as achieving result goals
• Development of new business opportunities and active expansion of your customer network
• Steering of marketing activities to increase visibility externally
• Representation of the company at conferences, industry events, and expert forums
• VNetworking within the company to utilize synergies and identify cross-selling potential

We are looking for

• A completed degree in the field of energy-, environmental- or business engineering or a comparable qualification with economic understanding
• At least 6 years of professional experience in the fields of energy consulting, decarbonization or related areas
• Demonstrable leadership experience with responsibility for at least 5 team members
• Fundamental knowledge of the energy industry, regulatory framework and relevant technologies in the context of the energy transition and decarbonization
• Experience in corporate climate accounting according to GHG-P as well as developing climate goals (e.g. SBTi)
• Expertise in funding programs, PPA- and procurement strategies, energy efficiency projects and ISO management systems or comparable topics
• A strong professional network in industry, energy supply, consulting or politics
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strategic foresight and the ability to control complex projects
• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking
