Senior Manager / Director (w/m/d) – Restructuring Consulting

You will take on a central role in developing our consulting unit and advise together with our partners the top management of medium-sized companies, shareholders, and banks in challenging crisis and special situations.

This is what you can expect from us

• Briefing CEOs, shareholders, banks, and investors in crisis and special situations
• Development, plausibility, and implementation of restructuring and insolvency concepts (according to IDW S6) and independent business reviews including integrated financial planning and options reviews
• Leadership, guidance, and further development of project teams as well as active training and promotion of younger colleagues
• Taking over and guiding demanding projects with high design freedom

This is what you bring with you

• Multiple years of relevant professional experience in a specialized consulting firm in the field of restructuring/sanitation
• Demonstrable experience in leading and guiding complex restructuring and insolvency projects as well as dealing with shareholders, lenders, and investors
• Multiple years and extensive experience in preparing, accompanying, and implementing insolvency reports according to IDW S6 as well as independent business reviews and option reviews
• Fundamental experience in preparing integrated financial plans in Excel
• High analytical and operational competence as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
• Outstanding leadership, project management, and communication skills as well as pleasure in developing teams and promoting young colleagues
• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in business administration, economics or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on corporate finance, controlling or accounting
• Very good knowledge of Excel (especially financial modeling) and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at C-level
• High willingness to engage, team orientation, and enthusiasm for challenging special situations
