We are looking for an experienced leader with a solid IT background to lead and develop our global team in the area of Datacenter Operations Support. In this key role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our support processes for our data centers worldwide and serve as the central interface to our local data center operations units.

The Datacenter Operations Support Team consists of five colleagues and is responsible for all supporting processes for the high-availability, sustainable, and cost-optimized operation of our data centers worldwide. Our goal is to continuously improve the technical, organizational, and regulatory framework conditions - always in close cooperation with the local teams on site.

Job Responsibilities

• Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung des Datacenter Operations Support Teams.
• Verantwortung für die Verfügbarkeit, Betrieb und die kontinuierliche Optimierung unserer Monitoring-Systeme, insbesondere zur Gewährleistung der Alarmierungsketten und Zertifizierungsanforderungen.
• Sicherstellung und Weiterentwicklung der Visualisierung kritischer Rechenzentrumsinfrastrukturen (Stromversorgung, Kühlung, Kältetechnik, USV etc.).
• Steuerung und Weiterentwicklung globaler Supportprozesse für unsere Rechenzentrumslandschaft.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Bereichsinternen IT- und Softwareteam für IT, Software und Netzwerk Themen, sowie externen Dienstleistern.
• Operative und strategische Steuerung unseres Co-Location Managements, inkl.:
  • Zugangskontrolle und Security-Prozesse
  • Vertragsmanagement und Abstimmungen mit Anbietern
  • Space & Capacity Management
  • Change- und Incident Management
• Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung und Dokumentation von Zertifizierungsprozessen (z. B. ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ISO 14001, C5, IT-Grundschutz).
• Innovationsbereitschaft: Förderung und Umsetzung innovativer Technologien und Lösungen zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung des Datacenter-Betriebs.

Qualifications

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im IT-Umfeld, idealerweise in der Administration, im Betrieb oder Management von Rechenzentren oder komplexen IT-Infrastrukturen.
• Fundierter IT-Background mit tiefgehendem Verständnis für IT-Infrastruktur, Netzwerke und IT-Betriebsprozesse.
• Erste Führungserfahrung in einer internationalen Umgebung.
• Gute Kenntnisse in mindestens einem der folgenden Bereiche:
  • Datacenter Infrastruktur (HV, USV, Kälte, Energieversorgung)
  • Technisches Monitoring / Alarmierungssysteme
  • PLC und Kommunikationsprotokollen
• Grundverständnis von Netzwerkinfrastruktur und IT-Schnittstellen.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit ITSM-Prozessen (z. B. ITIL) ist wünschenswert.
• Ausgeprägtes Organisations- und Kommunikationsgeschick.
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Strukturierte, lösungsorientierte und teamfähige Persönlichkeit.
• Hohes Maß an Innovationsbereitschaft und Affinität für neue Technologien im IT- und Datacenter-Betrieb.
