We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially astute Senior Manager, Culture & Capability to join our People Safety & Culture team in Sydney or Melbourne office on a permanent full-time basis. This role plays a critical part in designing and delivering culture and capability programs to ensure our workforce is engaged, competent, and safe. You will lead a team to deliver on our people strategy, working with the broader People Safety & Culture team and business leaders to achieve our strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the development and execution of culture and capability strategies and programs, aligned to APA’s strategic objectives. * Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted development solutions. * Design and deliver engaging and effective culture programs, including initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. * Manage and develop a team of culture and capability professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to support their growth. * Oversee the development and implementation of learning and development initiatives, including training programs and resources. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of culture and capability programs, using data to inform continuous improvement. * Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure alignment and integration of people strategies. * Prepare and manage budgets for culture and capability initiatives. * Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in culture and capability development. Skills and Experience: * Extensive experience in culture and capability development, with a proven track record of delivering successful programs. * Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. * Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. * Experience in designing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience in the energy or infrastructure industry is desirable.
