(Senior) Manager Accounts Payable / Kreditorenbuchhaltung (m/w/d)

Your Tasks
You are not looking for a 08/15 position, love the Start-Up world and found Finance already more exciting than Marketing? Then apply as Accounts Payable Manager (w/m/d). You can expect a comprehensive view of all topics in the area of Finance, Tax, and external reporting/accounting with the possibility to shape processes and structures actively.
Your Tasks:
- You ensure efficient operational processing and booking of incoming invoices, expenses, and payments under consideration of internal and external guidelines
- You establish a solid foundation for error-free payment transactions and clean closures through careful master data maintenance and account clarification
- You create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and are responsible for accounts receivable management
- You recognize optimization potential in daily workflows (P2P) and actively support implementing these changes
- You work closely with other departments and drive process adjustments independently forward
- You support the implementation and conduct of controls
- You are interested in personal and professional further education and feel well in a dynamic and result-oriented team
Your Profile
- You possess a completed commercial training (e.g. tax clerk), a completed degree in economics or comparable field
- You have several years of experience in accounts receivable accounting, particularly in processing PO invoices
- You ideally have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Moss, and the Google Suite
- You have very good German and English skills
- You live in Berlin/ surroundings or are willing to move to Berlin for your new position
- You love working in a digital system landscape and replacing manual processes with smart workflows
- You bring a high level of self-initiative, performance readiness, and independence
- You have a high technical affinity and strong analytical skills
- You have very good knowledge of HGB accounting and ideally good knowledge of IFRS
