The most common tasks are:
- Complex and dynamic agenda management
- Ensuring that the directorate has the necessary information for appointments in a timely manner (we work with iBabs)
- Support with email handling for the director and processing mail in XPostWeb
- Managing the directorate secretariat mailbox
- Receiving and guiding visitors
- Planning and organizing meetings and gatherings
- Requesting VIP transport and arranging domestic and international business trips
- Arranging amenities and coordinating actions for, among other things, service anniversaries
- Support with events
- Handling various questions and requests.

You will contribute to internal and external communication by:
- Co-filling and deploying the publication systems and instruments to be used by the Directorate K&I;
- Supporting the organization of lectures and events/seminars;
- Supporting visits by delegations and in 'hosting' (international working groups in the Netherlands;
- Acting as the first point of contact for the Staff for external (telephone) contacts.

Job Requirements

- MBO (vocational education) work and thinking level;
- Completed MBO education in secretarial, administrative, or business administration fields or a comparable combination of education and experience;
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in management support roles;
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in support roles in the field of innovation and project management in a government environment.

You will keep a cool head during changes and know how to set the right priorities. At the same time, you are meticulous in your work and ensure that things are perfect down to the last detail.

The mentioned salary is based on your work experience and educational background and based on a full-time working week of 38 hours. The salary ranges from € 3,297.40 to € 4,568.58 (scale 7) gross per month, based on 38 hours.

The activities are carried out within the Knowledge & Innovation Staff of the Directorate Knowledge & Innovation of the Materiel & IT Command.

The Directorate Knowledge & Innovation aims to make the latest materiel and IT solutions applicable for our military personnel so they can win battles. To make this possible, the focus is on accelerating the organization's adaptability. Therefore, the Directorate K&I focuses on knowledge building, innovation, and the relationship between them. We do this by organizing the control of knowledge building for materiel and IT within COMMIT. Additionally, we experiment with, facilitate, and realize innovations, including in the area of materiel and IT integration. People, processes, and technology are integrated into this so that successful operational innovations have an effect in the combat practice of Defence. We, as Directorate K&I, are successful when we are able to maintain our military personnel's advantage in combat through knowledge building and innovations.

The Staff aims to strengthen the management of the Directorate Knowledge & Innovation COMMIT by supporting, facilitating, and advising to better organize and govern the complex field of work.
