Senior / Management Consultant Information Security (m/f/d)

For an ongoing client project, we are looking for you as a Senior Consultant Information Security to support our project team. Bring your expertise to where it really makes an impact.

Tasks

You will take responsibility for central work packages within a large security project in a regulated and KRITIS-related environment and work closely with our project manager

• You take on the technical management of project streams, coordinate project participants and manage external service providers as well as stakeholders at the management level of the client
• You analyze existing security organizations (e.g. through GAP and maturity level analyses) and, based on this, develop structured measures, security roadmaps and strategic target images
• You support our clients in implementing regulatory requirements (e.g. KRITIS, NIS2 or EU AI Act)
• Within the framework of ISMS projects according to ISO 27001, you carry out protection requirement assessments and risk analyses and support the implementation of the measures derived from them
• You operate in a demanding project environment with different stakeholder interests and manage to advance security issues in a structured manner, even in complex organizational situations

This is what we want from you:

Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in the field of information security or cyber security – ideally in a consulting environment

• Experience in the independent execution or management of security projects and in the coordination of project participants
• Practical experience in the implementation of ISO 27001-based ISMS, including protection requirement assessment, risk analysis and the creation of the Statement of Applicability (SoA)
• Confidence in dealing with established information security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz) as well as regulatory requirements in the security environment
• A confident appearance towards clients, especially when dealing with different stakeholder interests
• A structured, solution-oriented way of working and the ability to keep an overview and take responsibility, even in dynamic project situations

Your skills (nice to have)

We are pleased about the following skills from you, otherwise you will learn the aspects as part of the onboarding:

• Project experience in BSI IT-Grundschutz or in the environment of critical infrastructures (KRITIS)
• Basic understanding of OT security or energy-specific security requirements
• Experience in the SAP environment
• Knowledge in the area of AI Security, ideally with reference to ISO 42001
