Senior M&A Professional / Deal Lead – Renewable Energy (m/w/d)

Location: Konstanz | Start: As soon as possible

Aufgaben

• Responsible leadership and execution of M&A and financing projects in the field of renewable energy (e.g. Solar-PV, Wind Onshore, Storage, Hybrid-Assets) – from acquisition or takeover mandates to structuring, signing, and closing. This includes direct communication with decision-makers on behalf of investors, buyers, and sellers as well as coordination of internal project teams.
• Ideal candidate brings a robust network in the renewable energy sector and enjoys identifying, developing, and successfully pursuing own mandate opportunities.
• Professional guidance and development of analysts and associates within ongoing transactions.
• Analysis of purchase, sale, financing, and due diligence documents as well as preparation of internal and external decision-making materials, evaluation frameworks, teasers, and information memorandums.
• Preparation of financial models, economic viability, and sensitivity analyses for investments in the field of renewable energy.
• Execution of market and company research as well as strategic analysis with a focus on renewable energy.

Qualifikation

• Minimum five-year professional experience in M&A, financing, or financial modeling, e.g. at a bank, auditing firm, M&A consulting firm, private equity/venture capital company, or asset management.
• Experience with buy-side and sell-side mandates, joint ventures, platform transactions, or structured project financing is advantageous.
• Fundamental knowledge in financial modeling as well as precise and reliable work habits paired with high self-motivation, implementation strength, and flexibility.
• Fluent German and English language skills; additional foreign languages are an asset.
