Without well-organized equipment and reliable support, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee cannot perform its duties. As a Senior Officer of Equipment and Services, you will ensure that the logistical and facility processes behind the operation are in order. You are the connecting link between brigades, internal departments, and chain partners, and you ensure that requests, management, and administrative processes are carried out carefully. In this way, you contribute daily to the deployability of the KMar and the colleagues working on the security of the Netherlands.
What will you do?
As a Senior Officer of Equipment and Services, you will be involved in the administrative and managerial execution of logistical and facility processes within the region. You will work closely with various parts of the KMar and ensure that requests, changes, and reports are processed carefully.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Supporting the inflow, outflow, and maintenance of authorized equipment and carrying out the associated administrative tasks.
- Handling requests for goods and materials and coordinating with involved departments within the region.
- Coordinating requests for equipment and services with other Defense components and chain partners.
- Monitoring the progress of requests and ensuring correct administrative processing.
- Advising and supporting units and brigades with administrative and managerial issues.
- Contributing to the monitoring and improvement of logistical and administrative processes within the field.
- Participating in the development of improvement plans and risk analyses focused on process execution.
- Supporting the preparation of annual plans, periodic reports, and incidental reports within the Equipment and Services domain.
- Providing reports on managerial matters within the unit.
- Supporting management in the development and preparation of plans.

For this position, we are looking for a meticulous and involved colleague who can maintain an overview within complex logistical and administrative processes. You work independently, actively seek collaboration, and know when coordination is needed.
Furthermore, you possess:
- An MBO 3 diploma.
- Experience within supporting, facility, or business operational processes, preferably within Defense.
- Knowledge of equipment logistics processes and procedures.
- Experience with processing changes and evaluating data within systems such as SAP.
- Proficiency in working with systems used in the field.
- The ability to prepare clear advice, reports, and plans.
- An integrity-driven, meticulous, and responsible work ethic where taking initiative is a given.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various parties.
