About the Client Our client is a global technology company operating in the financial services sector, delivering solutions supporting banks, financial institutions, payment companies, and enterprises worldwide. The organization specializes in areas such as digital payments, electronic banking, transaction processing, core banking systems, and data center and infrastructure solutions. The company serves thousands of clients in over 100 countries, supporting them in digital transformation, enhancing security, and optimizing business processes. About the Project The person in this role will join an application migration project carried out as part of a data center migration program. The project concerns applications supporting business processes related to payment card acceptance, acquiring, and issuer processor processes. The applications handle critical business functions, including transaction authorization processes, which is why we are looking for an individual with very good knowledge of Linux environments, experience working with high-availability infrastructure, and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical problems. Cooperation Model On-site work from the client's office in Warsaw (5 days a week) Realization of the project will be facilitated by: * Experience in advanced Linux system administration * Practical knowledge of Linux Server environments: RedHat, Oracle Linux * Experience in administering and maintaining application servers, such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OHS, WildFly, Spring Boot * Knowledge of automation tools, particularly Rundeck and Ansible * Experience in ensuring high availability, quality, performance, and security of server infrastructure * Knowledge of cryptography-related issues, including PKI and PGP * Knowledge of IP network management issues * Ability to create scripts in Bash or Python * Experience in performance analysis, monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution in Linux systems * Ability to quickly acquire complex infrastructure knowledge * Ability for analytical thinking and rapid problem-solving * Very good command of Polish and English, spoken and written * Experience working with international technical teams and SMEs from various countries Nice to Have * Current RHCE certification * Experience in application migration projects, especially between data centers * Experience in environments related to transactional, payment, or financial systems Your Contribution to the Project * Administration, configuration, and maintenance of Linux server environments, particularly RedHat and Oracle Linux * Support for application migration between data centers, including building, configuring, testing, and migrating environments * Cooperation with Application & Middleware teams in carrying out BAU tasks * Close cooperation with Project Managers regarding the planning and execution of subsequent migration stages * Preparation and handling of requests concerning infrastructure construction, configuration, and access * Identifying and addressing blockers arising during the project * Diagnostics and resolution of technical problems * Monitoring environments for performance, reliability, and availability * Analysis of Linux system performance, monitoring, diagnostics, and incident handling * Creation and maintenance of up-to-date technical documentation in Confluence This is How We Will Take Care of You By joining Edge One Solutions, you receive full support in professional and personal development, giving you a real chance to build a career according to your own goals.
