For our Legal Team in Munich, we are looking for a dedicated personality who is eager to independently manage diverse legal topics, actively shape contracts, and legally support the further establishment of our German Octopus Energy companies. Your future tasks:
  • You work closely with the Head of Legal DE in providing legal support for the various business areas

  • You draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts, especially in the area of energy and sales partnerships

  • You develop and optimize your own General Terms and Conditions as well as legally compliant contract templates

  • You advise internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues

  • You support the establishment and further development of legal structures within the German Octopus Energy companies
    • Your background:
  • Business law degree (LL.M.) or completion of the 1st or 2nd state examination

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in German and European commercial private law (e.g., BGB, HGB)

  • Experience in the energy industry is an advantage

  • T-shaped: Broad expertise in several legal areas is an advantage

  • You have a high degree of personal responsibility and drive your tasks forward independently

  • You are characterized by high communication skills, both written and oral

  • You possess very good German and English language skills. Further European foreign languages are an advantage

  • You are a problem solver and think outside the box
