Senior Legal Counsel – Germany & Austria (m/f/d)

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will support our business in Germany and Austria, take responsibility for central legal topics independently, and help us master regulatory issues confidently. You will be part of our central legal team, but work strongly market- and future-oriented with a clear AI-First mentality.

Your tasks
Legal advice & support: First point of contact for day-to-day operational business (commercial, corporate, e-commerce law, and compliance) in DE & AT
Contract management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
Project management: End-to-end management of legal projects and support for strategic topics (e.g., M&A or corporate governance)
Risk management: Early identification of risks and presentation of pragmatic, business-friendly solutions
Interface: Close collaboration with internal teams (Finance, Operations, HR) and management of external law firms
What you bring:
Education: Completed law studies (admission to the bar preferred)
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, ideally from law firms and in-house
Expertise: Profound knowledge of commercial/contract law as well as deep understanding of German and Austrian law
Work style: Proactive, structured, and strong in building new things and making independent decisions
Mindset: Team player with a high affinity for AI, Legal Tech, and modern tools.
Languages: Fluent German and English
