(Senior) Legal Counsel for Commercial Area

• Support with RFP/tender processes as well as independent execution of contract negotiations with prospective and existing clients in coordination with the Legal-Commercial Team and the Market division, as well as legal reviews, also for our international subsidiaries (for the DACH, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Benelux, Poland, Romania, and Nordics regions)
• Taking over/participating in the review of data protection law contracts (e.g., DPAs) as well as contracts with service providers and other cooperation partners
• Topic- and event-related coordination with colleagues, especially from the broader Legal & Compliance area, including Data Protection & AI Governance, Market (Business Development & Partnership Management), IT Security, and Finance, as well as with external partners to ensure compliance with legal requirements and contract terms
• Active participation in the development and implementation of strategies for optimization in the Legal Operations area
• Support for the Lead Legal Counsel Commercial (Commercial) and, if necessary, the General Counsel with further legal issues

• Law degree (at least LL.M.) in at least one EU/EEA jurisdiction, ideally with or at the level of a German second state examination in law
• At least 4 years of experience in Commercial Law, preferably in an international European environment in the markets relevant to the PAIR Finance Group (plus: France, Italy)
• At least 2 years of experience in negotiating data protection law contracts, ideally also with partners from the regions of France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Romania
• Practical experience in supporting RFP and tender processes as well as in contract negotiations, contract management, and legal reviews, ideally gained in an internationally operating company
• Fluent German, English, and French are a matter of course for you – knowledge of Italian, Dutch, or Swedish is a plus
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Great interest and ability to realistically represent contracts and to further develop contract management systems and relevant documentation

• Within the probation period (6 months): 2–3 days per week in the office
