Senior Legal Counsel, Engineering & Construction

Kerry Consulting is currently partnering with a Singapore Headquartered Energy Solution Company that is commited in driving energy transition across Asia. They are currently looking to hire a commercially astute Senior Legal Counsel for their Regional Legal team. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders and oversee the delivery of legal and compliance support. Responsibilities As a senior member of the legal team, you will assist in the drafting, reviewing and negotiating various agreements, contracts and other documents related to engineering and construction projects. You will also provide guidance on regulatory compliance matters and ensure that all legal and compliance requirements are met. Additionally, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective legal strategies and policies. Requirements: - Strong understanding of the engineering and construction industry; - Excellent drafting and negotiation skills; - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; - Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal professionals; - Bachelor's degree in Law or related field; - 8+ years of experience as an in-house counsel or external lawyer with expertise in engineering and construction law.
