As a Senior Lead Consultant – Defense & Resilience (all genders), you will advise our clients in the environment of private defense companies and security-related public clients. You will combine your deep understanding of military and regulatory requirements with your expertise in modern IT and digitalization topics. Together with our clients, you will develop future-proof resilient strategies, target images, and solutions – from analyzing complex challenges to concrete implementation.

You are confident at the interface between functional expertise, technology, and organization and know how to translate complex technical contexts into concrete military or regulatory benefits. You will work closely with our clients, interdisciplinary teams, and partners and actively shape the further development of our services in the area of Defense & Resilience.

• You will advise private and public clients from the defense and security sector on the development and implementation of highly secure digitalization and transformation projects.
• You will analyze complex functional, organizational, and technological challenges and develop robust solution approaches and target images from them.
• You will translate military capabilities, operational requirements, and strategic goals into concrete digital solutions and technological architectures.
• Together with our clients, you will develop strategies, roadmaps, and concepts for the digitalization of security-relevant processes and structures.
• You will accompany projects from strategic conception through functional design to implementation, ensuring concrete customer benefits.
• You will conduct workshops with various stakeholders and bring together functional, technological, and strategic perspectives.
• You will work closely with our experts in development, architecture, and delivery and take responsibility for the functional quality of the results.
• You will monitor technological and security policy developments and derive relevant impulses for our clients and our service portfolio from them.

• Several years of experience in consulting, conception, or management of complex digitalization and IT projects – ideally in the defense, security, or public sector environment.
• In-depth understanding of military capability logics and capacity-oriented planning, as well as the ability to derive requirements for modern digital solutions from them.
• Good understanding of the digitalization of command and control processes, as well as command information systems and their integration into existing system landscapes.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies and solution approaches in the areas of Cybersecurity, Resilience, Cloud and Platform Solutions, as well as Secure Communication and Networks.
• Understanding of the application possibilities of drones, sensor technology, and unmanned systems, as well as the potential of Artificial Intelligence and Data Spaces in the military and public sector environment.
• The ability to translate technological developments and complex IT services into concrete military or regulatory requirements, application scenarios, and benefit potentials.
• Confident demeanor in customer workshops, at management level, and in interdisciplinary teams, as well as the ability to prepare complex issues in a target-group-oriented manner.
• High degree of initiative, strategic thinking, and the willingness to take responsibility for topics, clients, and the further development of our consulting portfolio.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe depending on client appointment schedules.
• Plus: Own background through service in the Bundeswehr or close professional contact with the troops/organization.
• Plus: Experience with topics such as VS-NfD/security clearance, security vetting (SÜG) or similar work in regulated environments.
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
