My client is a well-established, innovation-driven technology company with over 2,000 employees in Germany. The focus lies on the development and production of high-quality electronic solutions for demanding industrial sectors.

Your Mission

You are responsible for the stable operation and continuous further development of a modern container- and platform-infrastructure. You combine classical system administration with future-oriented DevOps approaches and actively shape a high-performance Kubernetes environment.

Tasks

• Operation, optimization, and automation of a Kubernetes platform (including VMware Tanzu)
• Administration of Linux- and Windows-servers within a virtualized environment (VMware)
• Further development of the platform architecture with a focus on performance, stability, and security
• Support for internal development teams in containerized applications
• Optimization and expansion of CI/CD pipelines
• Implementation of automation- and infrastructure-as-code approaches
• Creation of technical documentation and definition of operational standards

Qualification

• Completed IT training or comparable study
• Multiple years of practical experience with Kubernetes
• Very good understanding of networks (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with virtualization (VMware)
• Safe handling of Linux- and Windows-systems
• Knowledge in Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD or similar tools is an advantage
• Interest in DevOps methods and modern infrastructure concepts
