Senior Kubernetes Engineer

As a Senior Kubernetes Engineer at Conflux Consulting, you will help organizations design, build, and optimize modern cloud-native platforms. You will operate at the intersection of infrastructure, software engineering, and DevOps.

You are not only strong in execution but also in providing substantive guidance. You will advise clients on containerization, platform architecture, and scalability. You will build production-ready Kubernetes environments and ensure they are secure, reliable, and future-proof.

What will you do?

• Design and implement Kubernetes platforms (on-prem, hybrid, or cloud-native)

• Advise on container strategy and cloud architecture

• Set up CI/CD pipelines and GitOps implementations

• Configure observability (monitoring, logging, tracing)

• Automate infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code

• Guide DevOps and engineering teams

• Actively contribute to the further development of the Kubernetes/Platform practice

You will be a good fit for this role if you recognize yourself in (part of) the profile below:

• A completed HBO Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science,

• Software Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or equivalent

• At least 5+ years of experience in Cloud/DevOps/Platform Engineering

• Demonstrable experience with production environments at scale

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes in enterprise environments

• Experience with AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), and/or GCP (GKE)

• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)

• Experience with containerization (Docker)

• Strong communication skills and consultancy experience

• Ability to clearly explain complex infrastructure issues to both engineers and stakeholders

Added Value

• CKA and/or CKS certification

• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux)

• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

• Experience with security hardening and cloud security

• Scripting (Bash, Python)
