We are TWK from Wedel - a family-owned company that has been developing sensors for functional safety for over 60 years and producing them in Germany. After migrating to SolidWorks, we now want to tidy up: eliminate wild growth, build a rule-based construction with DriveWorks, and automate routine work.

Establish the structures that give our four-member team space for real construction - new gearboxes, bearings, innovative mechanisms.

This is what your work looks like:

Structure creation: You clear up - analyze existing constructions, eliminate wild growth, and bring order to the SolidWorks system. With DriveWorks, you build a rule-based, modular construction, define the rules, and ensure they are followed. You conduct tests, document results, and establish best practices.

Collaboration & Administration: You manage external service providers, coordinate requirements, and ensure quality. In the team, you share your knowledge and enable colleagues to use new tools effectively.

Innovation & Further Development: You design new mechanisms - gearboxes, bearings, sustainable components. No small parts contouring, but real construction work. You plan your projects independently and set priorities. Besides, you test modern KI tools and evaluate pragmatically: What brings real added value? What is hype? What works will be integrated.

Important: You are a constructor, not an administrative worker. Administrative tasks belong to that - but should not determine your daily routine.

Qualification

Fits you?

We're looking for people with attitude and drive, not just checklist fulfillers.

Professionally:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a constructor or CAD developer
• Fundamental SolidWorks expertise - you know the system inside and out
• DriveWorks experience or comparable tools (Tacton, iLogic) - or the willingness to intensively get involved
• Programming knowledge in Python, VBA, or similar languages for automation scripts would be desirable
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM is a plus, just like with the SolidWorks API

Personally:

• A strong sense of order and process thinking are your thing
• Hands-on mentality: You tackle things and find pragmatic solutions
• Communication strength for teamwork and managing external service providers
• Independent, structured work style

KI Affinity:

• You already use KI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) or are open to it
• You test new technologies and evaluate them critically - what helps will be used
