Your tasks as a Key Account Manager in Retail
As a Key Account Manager in single-tier retail, you act as yfood’s voice to the trade and are an important interface to our field sales force. As part of an experienced and dynamic Key Account Management team, you actively shape the business and its sustainable success and are an important catalyst for our company.

• Strategic planning, management, and conceptual development of the customers responsible in single-tier key account management
• Planning and achievement of corporate revenue, sales, profit, and distribution goals
• Implementation and enforcement of national agreements as well as the execution of national, conceptual, and strategic sales and marketing objectives
• Analysis of KPIs, market, and sales data with the corresponding derivation of measures
• Preparation, participation, and follow-up of regular customer and annual meetings
• Coordination and implementation of promotions, listings, and pricing strategies, as well as customer-specific measures
• Establishment and expansion of constructive relationships with all relevant decision-makers and regular exchange
• Close cooperation with all Key Account Managers to coordinate and align a targeted approach
• Communication and coordination with interfaces Logistics, Finance, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and the national Field Sales Force

Your qualifications as a Key Account Manager in Retail

• Successfully completed university degree in Business Administration or a comparable commercial apprenticeship
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Key Account Management, in-depth knowledge of the processes within the retail structure, and good contacts with decision-makers in the retail industry. Field sales experience is desirable
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as the ability to drive multiple important topics and projects simultaneously
• A communicative and team-oriented personality with high initiative, solution orientation, and conflict resolution skills
