Senior Java Engineer | AI-Driven Development

About the project The team is responsible for the construction and development of platforms supporting pre-transactional processes (Pre-Trade), including: RFQ (Request for Quote), product pricing and valuation, lifecycle management, booking platforms (F2T), secondary market support. Work in Agile/DevOps model, delivering solutions quickly and regularly in a global, open, and technological environment collaborating directly with trading and business. We are looking for a team member located in Krakow. On a daily basis, we cooperate with teams from Canada, Hong Kong, and France, offering an international work environment and opportunities for experience exchange. The position offers the opportunity to work with Kotlin and C# technologies – mainly in the area of analysis and getting acquainted with existing code, GCP, as well as gaining domain knowledge. Prior experience in this area is not required. Location: Krakow, hybrid work (2 days from the office). The project involves intensive use of AI tools in daily work. We are looking for an independent, proactive person willing to explore new solutions, who thrives in changing priorities and can take responsibility for tasks being carried out. Your tasks: * Development and maintenance of strategic Pre-Trading, pricing, and booking/lifecycle management platforms * Design and implementation of high-quality backend solutions * Participation in architectural decisions as part of a global development team * Execution of the full development cycle: requirements analysis → development → test automation → deployment → production support * Cooperation with Trading/Sales teams and other technology teams * Participation in DevOps initiatives and process automation * Migration of existing Java / Excel VBA solutions to strategic platforms based on Kotlin Requirements: * Very good, practical knowledge of Java backend development. * Experience in building large and complex distributed systems. * Knowledge of concurrent programming (concurrency/multithreading). * Knowledge of system design principles, test automation, and software quality. * Very good communication skills. * Ability to work in an international environment and collaborate directly with business.
