Senior Java Engineer AI-assisted development

Location: Warsaw (hybrid model - 1 day a week at the office) B2B Contract: 150–170 PLN/h Industry: insurance We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join the team developing key systems for the claims reporting and handling area. We are working on a modern platform combining microservices and monolithic architecture, constantly improving business processes, and implementing automation and AI tools to support SDLC. Responsibilities Development of microservices and monolithic components for claims handling systems. Designing architecture using modern patterns and technologies. Improving business processes through automation and optimization. Building an automated testing pyramid – from unit to integration tests. Code review – performing and receiving. Participation in Scrum events and collaboration in a mature, multi-volume environment. Adoption of AI tools in the software development process. Requirements (must have) Java. Apache Kafka. Very good knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate. Very good knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of git, maven, testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito). Knowledge of FP and OOP paradigms. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch. Ability to scale applications and diagnose performance. Ability to responsibly adopt AI tools in SDLC.
