Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a passionate Backend Developer with solid knowledge of Java, especially Spring Boot, and practical experience with databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, in-memory technologies, and event streaming platforms. The role requires active involvement in defining the solution architecture, developing scalable and efficient backend components, and coordinating technical teams when necessary. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to modern, performant, and easy-to-maintain solutions. As part of our team, you will be responsible for: • Developing, testing, and maintaining backend components using Java and Spring Boot. • Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and scalable web services. • Optimizing application performance and interactions with databases. • Participating in defining technical architecture and integration flows. • Ensuring code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and good development practices. • Collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and Business teams for complete solution delivery. • Documenting technical solutions and processes. • Assuming the role of Team Lead by coordinating tasks, supporting team members, and monitoring technical project progress. We are looking for someone who has: • Advanced knowledge of Java 11+ and Spring Boot (Core, Data, Security, Cloud). • Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and optimizing SQL queries. • Experience with JPA/Hibernate and persistence patterns. • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML. • Knowledge and experience with in-memory data stores, such as Redis or Valkey, for caching, session management, and performance. • Experience working with message brokers, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, for asynchronous communication and event flows. • Familiarity with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). • Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Knowledge of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and version control (Git). • Experience in technical mentorship and team coordination represents a major advantage. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Analytical thinking, problem-solving orientation, and attention to detail. • Initiative, autonomy, and ability to prioritize tasks. • Openness to continuous learning and professional development. • Ability to coordinate and motivate the team, assuming technical decision-making responsibility. • Proactive attitude and result-oriented approach.
