Senior Java Developer - Modena

Michael Page To enhance the team, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer who will lead the development of solutions and applications based on microservices in a cloud environment. The candidate must design, implement, and optimize scalable applications, actively contributing to the evolution of our technical architecture. Specifically, the selected resource will be responsible for: - Producing documentation containing technical specifications for designing solutions and applications to develop - Developing solutions and applications that use technologies adopted by the company - Performing testing and QA activities - Implementing and maintaining cloud-native solutions on platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure - Participating in software architecture design and review phases - Contributing to continuous process improvement of CI/CD - Resolving complex development and performance study problems - Mentoring and supporting the technical growth of junior developers - Java: At least 5 years of experience with Java 8+ and in-depth knowledge of modern language features - Framework: Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related modules (Spring Data, Spring Security) - Microservices: Significant experience in designing and implementing microservice architectures - Cloud: Advanced knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and its services for distributing microservices - Container: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration systems - API: Ability to design and implement robust and scalable REST APIs - Database: Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis) - Messaging: Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka - Test: Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing practices - DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Atlassian's suite or similar tools - Resilience: Knowledge of resilience models for distributed systems (Circuit Breaker, Retry, Bulkhead) The client company is a multinational operating in the high-tech sector.
